Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team at Definity, a leading technology company focused on AI-driven solutions and digital transformation. As we continue expanding to support innovative, high-impact projects, we are seeking someone who can ensure the quality and reliability of our applications through automated testing solutions.RemoteThis is a 100% remote opportunity open to candidates across LATAM.Main ActivitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and/or mobile applications.Collaborate with developers, product owners, and manual QA engineers to define test strategies and ensure test coverage.Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects in a clear and concise manner.Participate in code reviews, provide feedback on automation strategies, and ensure adherence to QA best practices.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient and scalable test execution.Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance product quality.Requirements3+ years of experience in QA engineering with a focus on test automation.Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks Playwright required (Selenium, Cypress, or similar are a plus)Experience with programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C#Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools)Hands-on experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar)Solid understanding of test design techniques, QA methodologies, and SDLCExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsAdvanced EnglishDesirableExperience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).Knowledge of performance testing and related tools (JMeter, Gatling).ISTQB or similar QA certifications.EducationComputer Science/Information Technology Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.About DefinityFounded in Monterrey, Mexico, Definity is a nearshore technology partner specializing in custom digital solutions, AI innovation, and business applications.
