What you’ll doAs a Network Engineer, you’ll provide the technical know-how and guidance to craft tailored network strategies for our clients. Your day-to-day will include:Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network switches, wireless controllers, and access points.Support troubleshooting of network connectivity issues (LAN, WLAN).Perform large wireless deployments within enterprise-level environments under the guidance of senior engineers.Support Cisco ISE and other network access control policy platforms.Document network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.Participate in clients’ change control procedures and processesWhat you need to thrive in this roleYou’ll join a proven team delivering custom network designs to clients worldwide. Key qualifications include:Experience: 5+ years working with (Cisco or similar) networking technologies (wired and/or wireless).Basic understanding of core networking concepts: IPAM, VLANs, STP, routing Protocols.Familiarity with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE Catalyst, and/or AireOS platforms.Ability to troubleshoot layer 1–3 network issues.Location: Remote position with limited travel to company eventsOther required skills:Strong documentation and communication.Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work collaboratively with teammates and cross-functional departments.Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.We also valueCertifications: Cisco CCNA, Aruba Campus Access, CWNA (or actively working toward certification).Experience: Cisco Prime, DNA Center, Cisco Meraki, Aruba Gateway or Central, or similar platforms.Enterprise or large campus network environments.Familiarity with formal change control processes.ServiceNow or other change management platforms.About usVelaspan is a leading professional services organization that specializes in wireless network design and consulting services.
