Finni Health is seeking a Controller to build and lead the accounting function for a rapidly growing healthcare MSO. We're revolutionizing ABA clinics by helping providers grow their businesses while delivering top-tier patient care.About the RoleThis is a hands-on leadership role responsible for establishing a scalable accounting infrastructure in a complex, insurance-driven environment. The Controller will own the integrity of financial reporting, ensuring that revenue, AR, cash, and payroll accounting are accurate, repeatable, and fully reconciled. This role will work closely with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Finance Operations, and Executive leadership to create a reliable financial foundation as the company scales through its next stage of growth.What You'll OwnFinancial Reporting & CloseOwn monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesBuild and maintain a scalable ≤10-day close cadenceEnsure integrity of the general ledger and financial reportingPrepare internal financial statements and reporting packagesRevenue Recognition & AROwn ongoing execution of revenue recognition in an insurance-based environmentBuild and maintain a monthly revenue bridge: Billing activity → Net Revenue → Cash → AREnsure RCM outputs reconcile to the GL each monthOwn AR accounting, aging, and reserve methodologyAccounting Operations & ControlsDesign scalable accounting processes and SOPsEstablish internal controls and ensure GAAP complianceIdentify and remediate gaps in accounting workflowsSupport audit readiness and future diligence processesPayroll AccountingOversee payroll accounting, accurately reconciling bi-weekly pay periods and invoicing with monthly reportingPartner with Finance Operations (who owns payroll execution)Ensure payroll data is accurately reflected in the GLCross-Functional PartnershipPartner closely with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Finance Operations, and Executive leadershipImprove alignment between operational reporting and financial reportingHelp create visibility into revenue quality, collections, and AR performanceAbout You8-10 years of healthcare accounting experiencePrior Controller or Assistant Controller ExperienceStrong technical accounting foundation in healthcare revenue recognitionExperience operating in high-volume, scaling environmentsAbility to build processes from 0-1Cross-border (US-CAN) accounting experience (bonus)Ready to make a significant impact at a rapidly growing healthcare startup?
