Sycamore Informatics Inc. is seeking an experienced Architect – Software Development to drive the architecture, design, and development of our cloud-native SaaS platforms for the clinical research industry.What You'll DoArchitect and develop scalable SaaS applications using Ruby on Rails, Python, Go, Docker, AWS, and modern web technologies.Design containerized, multi-tenant cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.Lead technical decision-making, architecture reviews, and mentoring of engineering teams.Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Gemini Code Assist.Ensure security, compliance, auditability, and GxP readiness of software solutions.Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.Required Skills15+ years of software development experience, including strong expertise in Ruby on Rails.Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS, REST APIs, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures.Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.Experience with AI-assisted software development tools.Proven leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred ExperiencePharmaceutical, Healthcare, Clinical Trials, or GxP-regulated environments.AWS Solutions Architect, Kubernetes, or Docker certifications.Experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Active Directory/LDAP, Terraform, and AI-powered product development.EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.If you are passionate about building next-generation SaaS platforms and leading engineering excellence in a regulated environment, we'd love to hear from you.
