About the roleProject Managers play a central role in the successful delivery of projects across aid, security and development contexts, often in fragile and conflict-affected settings.End-to-end project management, from mobilisation to close-outDay-to-day coordination of technical advisory teams and consultantsBudget oversight, financial forecasting and value-for-money monitoringRisk management, including maintaining risk registers and liaising with security teamsDonor and stakeholder engagement, including regular client communicationOversight of monitoring, evaluation, learning and reporting requirementsSupporting recruitment, onboarding and people management where requiredContributing to organisational learning and future opportunitiesAbout youWe are keen to hear from Project Managers who bring strong technical capability and the ability to operate flexibly in complex environments.Experience in project management within the aid, security and/or development sectorsExperience managing projects funded by bilateral or multilateral donors (e.g. FCDO, EU, UN agencies, World Bank, USG)Strong budgeting, financial management and risk management skillsConfidence working with diverse, multi-national teams and stakeholdersExcellent communication and organisational skillsA proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approachComfort working remotely across time zones and travelling to field locationsStrong IT skills, particularly across MS 365, including ExcelLanguages: Fluency in English is required.
