The ideal candidate will be a senior-level Business Intelligence professional with deep expertise in the Microsoft Fabric platform, combining strong reporting delivery skills with an architectural and administrative mindset. This individual will be capable of designing, governing, and scaling BI solutions that support enterprise analytics needs.Key RequirementsCore Platform and Technical SkillsExtensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including:Power BI, OneLake, semantic models, dataflows, and Fabric workspacesUnderstanding Fabric capacity management, security, governance, and deployment patternsKnowledge of how Fabric components interact across ingestion, modeling, and consumption layersKnowledge of Snowflake, SQL Server and Oracle connections to Power BI for composite models etc..Advanced Power BI reporting and modeling skills, including:Semantic model design with strong dimensional and analytical modeling principlesDAX optimization, performance tuning, and report scalabilityApplying best practices for usability, accessibility, and maintainabilityExperience with Paginated Reports, including best-practice guidance on when to use paginated reporting versus interactive analytical reports (Power BI).Strong BI architecture and administration mindset, including:Defining workspace strategies, dataset reuse, and environment separation (Dev/Test/Prod)Implementing governance, security (RLS), and lifecycle management standardsSupporting enterprise-grade BI solutions rather than one-off reportsDemonstrated ability to architect end-to-end solutions and produce clear, actionable documentation, translating business requirements into scalable technical designs that can be built independently or seamlessly handed off to other team members for executionEmbedded Analytics and AutomationSolid understanding of embedded analytics patterns within Fabric and Power BI:Evaluating different embedding options based on internal vs. external consumption use casesDesigning scalable and secure embedded reporting solutionsExperience leveraging the Power BI REST APIs for:Automating deployments and environment promotionSupporting CI/CD pipelines into FabricManaging datasets, reports, workspaces, and refresh operations programmaticallyAI and Copilot EnablementWorking knowledge of AI capabilities within Microsoft Fabric, including Copilot:Identifying where Copilot can improve development efficiency, model exploration, and reporting workflowsUnderstanding how BI assets can be designed to best leverage Copilot and AI-assisted insightsFamiliarity with responsible AI and governance considerations in analytics environmentsDomain KnowledgeExperience within the Healthcare and/or Insurance domain, including:Understanding of business concepts such as claims, members, providers, eligibility, policies, and financial metricsAwareness of regulatory, compliance, and data privacy considerations common to the industryCommunication and CollaborationStrong ability to engage directly with business stakeholders to:Gather and refine reporting and analytics requirementsTranslate business needs into scalable BI and semantic model designsAdvise on solution architecture and appropriate analytic approachesDemonstrated cross-department collaboration skills, working effectively with:Data Engineering teamsPlatform and security teamsProduct, operations, and leadership stakeholdersAble to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesOverall Mindset:Brings a BI delivery and architectural mindset, focused on:Building reusable, governed, and scalable BI assetsBalancing speed of delivery with long-term platform sustainabilityTreating Power BI and Fabric as enterprise platforms rather than isolated toolsWhat We OfferCompetitive salaries throughout LATAM (USD).100% remote work from anywhere in LATAM.Opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-growing global team.Daily interaction and close collaboration with international teams, including the US.A role with high visibility and ownership, where your work directly impacts the business.
