About the roleWe are seeking a skilled Salesforce OmniStudio Developer to support digital transformation initiatives within the public sector. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and citizen-centric solutions using Salesforce OmniStudio (Vlocity) to improve service delivery, streamline operations, and enhance constituent engagement.The ideal candidate has experience working in government or highly regulated environments and understands the importance of compliance, accessibility, and data security in public-facing systems.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain OmniStudio solutions, including OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and FlexCards, in support of Department of Defense (DoD) mission systemsTranslate functional and mission requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions aligned with DoD architecture standardsSupport modernization and migration of legacy systems to Salesforce Government Cloud/DoD-compliant environments as neededDevelop and maintain secure integrations with internal and external DoD systems using REST/SOAP APIs and approved middlewareEnsure all solutions comply with DoD cybersecurity and compliance frameworks, including NIST controls, FedRAMP and RMF requirementsImplement security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, and secure coding standardsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of Salesforce development experienceHands-on experience with OmniStudio toolsStrong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQLExperience developing secure integrations using REST/SOAP APIsWorking knowledge of DoD cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST 800-53, RMF, and FedRAMP requirementsFamiliarity with secure software development practices and DevSecOps principlesExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (Secret or higher, as required)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsSalesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, OmniStudio Developer Certification)Prior experience supporting DoD or other federal defense programsCurrent Secret or Top Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain oneExperience supporting ATO packages, security control assessments, and continuous monitoring activitiesExperience with DevSecOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Copado, or GearsetKnowledge of data governance, records management, and audit requirements in DoD environmentsExperience with large-scale case management, logistics, or personnel systems within defense programs
