About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on AWS Solution Architect to help us design and build reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure for our fintech products. This is not a high-level-only role; you’ll be working closely with developers to actually implement what you design using IaC and best practices. We're a small team solving real problems, and we want someone who can take ownership of their work.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement production-grade cloud architectures on AWS.
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation for deployments.
- Make key decisions around architecture, security, performance, and cost.
- Collaborate directly with devs, product leads, and founders.
- Document decisions, processes, and diagrams as needed.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the system.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3+ years designing and implementing solutions on AWS.
- Strong knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, etc.).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation).
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, etc.).
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools and cloud networking.
- Comfortable working remotely and communicating clearly.
- Fluent in English.
Nice-to-Haves
- AWS Certified (Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional).
- Experience in fintech or high-security environments.
- Spanish fluency.
