Clerk Typist (Remote) at Houston Graduate School of Theology

Position: Clerk Typist (Remote) Location: United States (Remote). Compensation: From $27 to $35 per hour. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize computer software to type letters, reports, and other documents accurately and in a timely manner. - Proofread and edit various documents for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors. - Receive and sort incoming mail and distribute it to the appropriate departments. - Maintain and update physical and electronic filing systems. - Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records of student and faculty information. - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel. - Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events as needed. - Assist with handling and processing payments for tuition and other fees. - Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Strong typing and proofreading skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software programs. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively. - Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role is preferred. - Knowledge of theological terminology and practices is a plus. - Must be able to uphold and promote the values and mission of Houston Graduate School of Theology.
