Mission:
- Take full ownership of the mortgage loan process, ensuring every file progresses smoothly, accurately, and on schedule from contract to closing.
- Manage all active loans while delivering an exceptional client experience through proactive communication, strong follow-up, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Maintain complete and accurate loan files, manage critical milestones, and coordinate effectively with borrowers, loan officers, title companies, appraisers, insurance providers, and other third-party vendors to ensure a seamless closing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all active loan files from contract to closing.
- Monitor and track closing timelines and milestones.
- Review and manage Closing Disclosure status.
- Track insurance requirements and status updates.
- Monitor rate lock expirations and coordinate extensions as needed.
- Order, track, and review appraisal status.
- Identify and escalate files requiring immediate attention.
- Complete file setup and prepare loan submissions.
- Coordinate all aspects of the closing process.
- Provide regular loan status updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage deadlines and ensure all conditions are satisfied on time.
- Maintain proactive communication throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Deliver an exceptional borrower and client experience while managing multiple priorities.
- Anticipate issues before they arise, maintain an organized and efficient pipeline, and ensure every loan closes accurately and on time.

Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- 1–2+ years of experience in the U.S. mortgage industry and/or mortgage loan processing.
- Experience managing residential mortgage loan files from contract to closing.
- Strong understanding of mortgage documentation, compliance requirements, and file management.
- Hands-on experience with mortgage processing workflows, timelines, and loan documentation.
- Experience ordering and tracking appraisals, title work, homeowners insurance, Verification of Employment, and Verification of Mortgage.
- Solid knowledge of U.S. residential mortgage lending processes and loan transactions.
- Background in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong follow-up, communication, and customer service skills when working with borrowers, loan officers, clients, and internal teams.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Takes ownership of responsibilities and demonstrates a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
