Teams keep it open beside their work, so messages have to land in the right place and stay quick as channels pile up.What you will do:Build the chat screens, the channel list and file previews.Write the services behind messages, mentions and notifications.Keep the message history loading fast as channels grow long.Work on search across messages and the files people have shared.Fix bugs teams report and add tests around them.Requirements:JavaScript or TypeScript used on both sides of a real product.React or Vue on the front, with Node or similar behind it.REST APIs and websockets, plus a database you have designed tables in.Responsive screens that hold up on a laptop and a phone.Git, code review and the usual build tooling.Clear written communication for remote work.A degree in computer science or a related field, or shipped work that speaks for it.Only interested people can DM me.
