Black Fox LLC is seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to support cybersecurity risk assessments for public sector and commercial clients. This is a part-time remote opportunity with flexible hours supporting NIST-based cybersecurity assessments, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives, and cybersecurity documentation reviews.The successful candidate will work closely with senior cybersecurity professionals to evaluate security controls, review technical documentation, participate in stakeholder interviews, document assessment findings, and assist in preparing executive and technical reports.This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience supporting government cybersecurity projects while working alongside experienced cybersecurity consultantsResponsibilitiesAssist with cybersecurity risk assessmentsReview security policies, standards, and proceduresEvaluate documentation against NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)Support control reviews using NIST SP 800-53 and NIST SP 800-171Document assessment evidence and findingsParticipate in stakeholder interviews and workshopsAssist in developing executive and technical reportsMaintain project documentation and action itemsSupport remediation tracking and risk documentationCollaborate with senior cybersecurity consultantsRequired Qualifications2–5 years of cybersecurity, IT security, or GRC experienceFamiliarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)Understanding of NIST SP 800-53 or NIST SP 800-171Excellent written communication skillsExperience reviewing technical documentationStrong organizational skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentU.S. work authorizationPreferred QualificationsSecurity+ certificationCISSP Associate or CISSPGRC platform experienceCJIS, FedRAMP, or CMMC experienceGovernment consulting experienceExperience conducting cybersecurity assessmentsWhy Join Black FoxAt Black Fox LLC, you'll work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals supporting meaningful public sector cybersecurity initiatives.
