We operate a global remote workforce driven by our core values.About the RoleWe're looking for a Director, Demand Generation to own the programs and pipeline that fuel Maze's growth. You'll be the connective tissue between strategy and execution, diagnosing where the funnel breaks, building campaigns that fix it, and working in lockstep with Sales and Business Operations to turn demand into revenue. This is a role for someone who genuinely cares about the product research space and the teams we serve, is informed by data, moves fast, and is always thinking about the next iteration.This is a senior individual contributor role with the opportunity to build and lead a team over time.What You’ll Do:Own top-of-funnel demand generation with a clear focus on leads, MQLs, and pipeline creation, primarily for new business with a meaningful eye on expansionDevelop and execute demand generation strategy by continuously identifying gaps in the funnel and proposing, testing, and deploying solutionsManage paid campaigns in collaboration with our agency partners across existing channels, while actively researching and piloting new ones, iterating based on what the data tells youPlan and execute field marketing programs including conferences and executive events designed to create pipeline and accelerate deals already in motionBuild and maintain lead and MQL forecasting models so the team always has a reliable, data-backed view of where we stand and what levers to pullRecommend greenfield opportunities for us, including new channels, and piloting tests to validate performanceOwn campaign operations including lead flow, routing logic, and data integrity across our marketing ops stack, working closely with Sales and Business OperationsWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in demand generation at a B2B SaaS companyExperience in the user or market research industry and empathy for our ICP — you understand who we're selling to, what they care about, and how to reach them in ways that resonateA track record of successfully driving leads, MQLs, and pipeline through a mix of paid programs, field marketing, and multi-channel campaignsThe ability to own direction and outcomes for demand generation, balancing short-term execution with longer-term strategyStrong analytical instincts with a habit of using data as the basis for decisions, building forecasts with rigor, and translating funnel metrics into clear business narrativesExperience managing paid campaigns through agency relationships and holding partners accountable to performanceHands-on familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools, and a solid understanding of how data flows between themA bias for experimentation you approach demand gen with curiosity, iterate quickly, and know that not every test will workCollaborative by nature, with strong working relationships across Marketing, Sales, and Business OperationsComfortable navigating ambiguity, able to identify what's broken, structure a plan to fix it, and move without waiting for perfect informationInclusivity and PayAt Maze, we are dedicated to building an equitable, inclusive, and authentic workspace.
