Mercor is hiring German-speaking music producers and audio engineers to evaluate generative music AI, in partnership with a leading AI lab.The job: you compare AI-generated songs head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, and production quality, label songs by genre and structure, and review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material, all working in German and English.You’ll be a strong fit if you have:Native or near-native German proficiency, plus the ability to follow detailed instructions in English2+ years as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineerHeadphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listeningNice to have: formal training in music theory or composition, credited or commercially released production work, and broad familiarity with contemporary German genres and artists.Application includes a Bilingual Competency Interview in German.Pay: $30 to $58 per hourCommitment: Flexible, most experts work around 20 hours a week, no capLocation: Fully remoteDuration: Up to 6 months, starting immediately
