Requirements and responsibilities
We are seeking a Scrum Master / Delivery Manager (Staff) to drive agile execution across multiple modernization workstreams. This individual will be responsible for maintaining delivery momentum, facilitating agile ceremonies, managing dependencies, and ensuring transparency into progress against an accelerated delivery timeline.The ideal candidate will have experience leading concurrent software delivery initiatives, removing impediments, and coordinating complex dependencies across multiple teams in migration or modernization-focused programs.Key ResponsibilitiesLead sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across multiple workstreamsTrack team velocity, burndown metrics, and overall delivery progress against approved Levels of Effort (LOE)Identify, escalate, and remove delivery impediments and blockersCoordinate dependencies and handoffs between workstreams and delivery teamsMonitor schedule risks and surface potential delays early to leadershipFacilitate collaboration between technical teams, stakeholders, and program leadershipMaintain backlog hygiene, sprint boards, reporting dashboards, and delivery documentationEnsure agile best practices and delivery governance are consistently followedSupport planning activities for migration and modernization initiativesRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, or Agile Project Manager within software delivery organizationsExperience managing concurrent workstreams under aggressive delivery timelinesStrong facilitation, stakeholder communication, and team coordination skillsProven ability to manage dependencies, risks, and delivery reportingExperience supporting migration, modernization, or transformation-focused programsFamiliarity with migration-style backlogs, including:Wave planningPer-application delivery trackingPer-object or work-item burndown managementStrong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologiesPreferred QualificationsCertified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certificationExperience supporting cloud migration, application modernization, or large-scale transformation initiativesStrong proficiency with Jira and/or Azure DevOpsExperience working within multi-team or multi-pod delivery environmentsImportant Screening RequirementsDue to client and clearance requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) and able to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.Undergo fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process.Successfully complete a government background investigation (CJIS-type clearance).The ideal candidate is a highly organized delivery leader who excels at keeping teams aligned, managing dependencies, and maintaining visibility into execution progress.
