Leveraging its extensive industry knowledge and proven technology portfolio, Xpansiv assists companies seeking to identify and mitigate risk, streamline the management of their environmental assets, and comply with regulations, caps and commitments.Position SummaryThe successful candidate will be an effective communicator who is energized to deliver exceptional client management services with a revenue-oriented mindsetWhat you will doServe as primary client relationship manager, business owner, and internal advocate.Foster the growth of relationships, establish and execute strategies for each client to retain and grow revenue.Create and implement engagement plans for each client with a focus on evolving product use-cases and future business development opportunities.Maximize the value of regular touchpoints with each client, including product/service-related inquiries and associated resolution; some travel may be required.Collaborate with other business teams for service and product improvements, drive outcomes.Liaise with industry participants, power market ISOs, and system administrators on behalf of Xpansiv and other stakeholders.Evaluate options and make recommendations for product innovation, internal process improvement, and risk mitigation.Lead contracting, renewals, and on-boarding processes.Actively pursue cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with existing clients.Continuously review budget vs. actual revenue, identify and execute on opportunities for growth.What you’ll bringBachelor’s degree, preferably in business, technology, engineering, or energy studies – MBA preferred.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with 2-3 years of experience in wholesale demand response, utility curtailment programs, and/or flexible load resource dispatch.Power trading/scheduling, client management, and/or sales support experience in wholesale power markets.Experience with renewables, battery storage, and natural gas resources is a plus.Passion for customer success management and software solutions within the electricity spaceDesired QualificationsExperience administering SaaS solutions in partnership with Product Managers, coordinating program materials, and enhancing internal/external processes.Detailed knowledge of wholesale power spot market/operational rules for generation, load, and battery resources, along with associated settlement mechanics (CAISO, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, PJM, NYISO, ISONE).Existing relationships with clients in the power markets.Experience testing software or reporting software issues.Skills & AbilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, working independently and with teams.Sound business judgement, attention to detail, and time management skills – balancing client and internal priorities.Confidence and composure interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership.Ability to quickly absorb commercial and technical concepts.Technical proficiency working with software solutions and Microsoft Office products.Comfort working with database applications.What can you expect throughout the interview processStep 1- Shortlisting of resume & Recruiter screeningStep 2- Hiring Manager MS teams callStep 3- Interview with the teamBase SalaryCompensation for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, knowledge, education and training.
