Founded by key contributors to Bazel, we build tools that empower engineering teams—from startups to Fortune 500 companies—to enhance developer velocity and improve build performance.We're seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Administrative Assistant to support our leadership team and the growing needs of our startup’s Colombian entity. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our organization by providing administrative support, accounting and compliance assistance, onboarding work, managing schedules, coordinating meetings and travel, approving expenses, and handling various tasks to assist our leadership and local SAS team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (English required), attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage executives' calendars (CTO/SAS Entity Head), schedule meetings, and coordinate appointmentsProvide overall support to the leadership team on an as-needed basisPrepare and organize documents, reports, and presentationsHandle select executive-level correspondenceMake travel arrangements and manage itineraries for executives and larger team initiativesAssist in preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action itemsHandle confidential information with utmost discretionPerform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping for various project and function areas, especially for the SAS entityAct as a liaison between executives and other team membersPartner frequently and effectively with our accountants and legal counterparts in ColombiaManage and approve expenses for the organizationSupport priority projects and initiativesRequirementsProven experience as an executive assistant or similar role supporting executivesExceptional organizational, budgeting, and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishPrevious experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech environmentProficient in Google and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgmentFlexibility and adaptability to changing prioritiesProfessional and friendly demeanorWillingness to work across time zonesCan-do and helpful attitudePrevious experience in a global company is preferred
