In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic national accounts in the Canadian market while driving sales development initiatives. You will serve as a key liaison between our organization and our most valued Canadian clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and revenue growth.Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned national accounts in Canada, identifying growth opportunities and expansion potentialManage the full sales cycle for enterprise-level accounts, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closingBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at national accountsAnalyze customer needs and customize solutions that align with their business objectivesForecast sales pipeline activity and provide accurate reporting on account status, revenue projections, and performance metricsCollaborate with internal teams including product, marketing, and customer success to ensure seamless account onboarding and retentionIdentify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue expansionParticipate in sales development activities including training, process improvement, and best practice sharingMonitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform account strategy and positioningMaintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular updates to managementQualificationsRequired:8+ years of experience in national or enterprise account management, preferably in a strategic or consultative sales environmentProven track record of successfully managing large-scale accounts and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targetsStrong understanding of sales development processes, pipeline management, and account-based selling methodologiesAdvanced proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools for data-driven decision makingExceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze complex customer requirements and develop customized, strategic solutionsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levelsAbility to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, customer success)Expertise in sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, and comprehensive performance reportingFluency in English; French language proficiency is a strong asset for the Canadian marketPreferred:Established experience managing accounts in the Canadian market or with Canadian-based organizationsBackground in multi-channel, consultative, or solution-based sales approachesExperience mentoring, coaching, or developing junior sales professionalsKnowledge of industry-specific sales processes, vertical markets, or enterprise solutionsDemonstrated expertise in account-based marketing (ABM) or strategic account planning methodologiesExperience with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in regulated or highly competitive industriesBachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
