Requirements and responsibilities

This is a remote project with a federal client. There will be infrequent meetings onsite in Virginia so candidates within driving distance are strongly preferred.US Citizenship is required.We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Project Manager to support a large-scale federal cloud modernization program focused on enterprise Salesforce and CRM platforms. This role operates in a high-visibility, mission-driven environment delivering secure, scalable applications across a complex enterprise ecosystem.The ideal candidate is a seasoned IT program leader with deep experience managing Salesforce or enterprise CRM programs, strong Agile delivery expertise, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams in regulated environments. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills and hands-on experience supporting enterprise releases, governance, and production application delivery.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end Salesforce and enterprise application programs within a large-scale government environmentManage cross-functional Agile teams across multiple technical workstreamsOversee full program lifecycle including planning, execution, delivery, and production deploymentFacilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectivesDrive release management, governance, and delivery coordination across environmentsDevelop and manage program plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverablesCoordinate with technical and business stakeholders to define requirements and delivery expectationsTrack and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple teamsSupport DevSecOps coordination and enterprise deployment activitiesEnsure alignment between technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders throughout deliveryCommunicate program status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadershipLead efforts supporting modernization and migration of legacy applications to cloud platformsEnsure smooth operation of production application teams and enterprise release cyclesRequired Qualifications10+ years of IT program or project management experience5+ years of experience managing Salesforce programs or enterprise CRM environmentsExperience supporting a government client or working in a government or highly regulated environmentStrong experience with Agile delivery methodologies and full lifecycle program managementExperience leading enterprise production application teams and deploymentsExperience with release management, governance, and SDLC processesStrong stakeholder management experience, including engagement with senior leadershipExperience coordinating DevSecOps or enterprise CI/CD delivery environmentsAbility to manage complex, multi-stream programs in fast-paced environmentsPreferred QualificationsPMP certification (or equivalent project management certification)Scrum Master or Agile certificationsSalesforce Administrator certificationSAFe and/or ITIL certification (nice to have)Federal civilian or DHS experience strongly preferredDesired SkillsStrong leadership and organizational abilitiesExcellent communication and executive presentation skillsAbility to translate technical delivery into business outcomesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to remove delivery blockersProven ability to operate in structured, governance-heavy environmentsFounded in 2010, Booker DiMaio LLC is a minority-owned, small business that is the “King of Global Solutions” providing excellence in Information Technology services to the Public and Private sector.
