micro1 is hiring 8 Neapolitan Language Experts to create and evaluate Neapolitan-language data for LLM training and multilingual tasks. You will write prompts, edit content, and judge model outputs for fluency, grammar, orthography, and cultural fit. This is precision language work for native or near-native Neapolitan speakers with strong writing, editing, and English skills.What you will doWrite and adapt Neapolitan prompts, instructions, dialogues, and Q&A for tasks like summarization, translation, and reasoningEdit and revise Neapolitan content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, morphology, and natural phrasing per style guidesTranslate and localize between Neapolitan and English, preserving register, tone, and regional nuanceEvaluate AI outputs for syntax, agreement, semantics, and pragmatics across formal and colloquial registersBuild and annotate datasets: parallel text, paraphrases, minimal pairs, and labeled examples with metadata, and document edge cases/dialect variationRequirementsNative or near-native Neapolitan + fluent English with strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and natural phrasing in bothProven writing and editing experience with attention to orthography, consistency, and quality standardsStrong attention to detail for consistent labeling, formatting, and style guide adherence at scaleClear written communication for notes, feedback, and documentationComfort with spreadsheets and labeling tools for high-volume, deadline-driven workBonusKnowledge of other Italo-Romance varieties, corpus linguistics, or prior RLHF/LLM feedback workComp & details$30-$80/hour based on task complexity and expertise8 openingsRemote-first with flexible hoursOngoing dataset and evaluation workTo applyShare your CV, language background + proficiency levels, and 1-2 examples of writing, editing, or translation work with your QC approach.
