As a Senior Manager, Product at CFC, you’ll own the end-to-end success of assigned products post-launch, driving product-market fit and growth across adoption, engagement, retention, and revenue. This role operates with a general manager mindset, the role leads an integrated product development team and partners cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to drive aligned to-to-market execution and lifecycle performance.Our team is collaborative, creative, and passionate about our work. You’ll have an opportunity to make an impact every day and have a say in the way we use client success to transform the lives of children.What you’ll do when you join us:Product Ownership and Business AccountabilityOwn the performance of assigned products or product lines, including:Product–market fit (PMF) indicators (e.g., activation, engagement, retention)Revenue growth and renewal performanceClient satisfaction (e.g., Net Promoter Score [NPS])Define and continuously refine the growth strategy at the product level, including expansion opportunities, pricing/packaging, and lifecycle optimizationTranslate portfolio strategy and organizational priorities into clear product-level goals, success metrics, and operating plansPartner with Directors to inform portfolio decisions by providing performance insights, growth opportunities, and risk signalsProduct–Market Fit (PMF) & Growth OptimizationLead efforts to achieve and sustain PMF by:Identifying target customer segments and use cases with the strongest demand signalsEnsuring product experience delivers clear, measurable value early (time to value)Partnering with Product Marketing to refine positioning, messaging, and value propositionEstablish and monitor leading indicators of growth (e.g., activation rate, usage thresholds, meaningful engagement milestones)Drive rapid iteration cycles based on customer feedback, usage data, and market insightsTeam Leadership & Product Management DisciplineLead, coach, and develop a cross-functional product development teamSet a high bar for product management excellence, including:Customer-centered thinkingData-informed decision-makingClear accountability for outcomes (not just outputs)Evolve product management processes to support a growth-oriented, product-led organizationCross-Functional LeadershipLead cross-functional execution of growth strategy for assigned products, aligning:Product ManagementProduct Marketing (GTM strategy, positioning, campaigns)Sales and Client Success (adoption, renewal, expansion signals)Partner closely with Product Marketing to ensure strong GTM execution and market resonanceEnsure alignment between product experience and go-to-market execution at the product levelLifecycle Management (Post-Launch Through Scale)Lead products through Product Readiness Level (PRL) and Go-to-Market Readiness Level (GRL) stagesEnsure the product delivers the capabilities, experience, and value necessary for successful scaleIdentify and resolve barriers to adoption, engagement, and renewalOptimize onboarding, implementation, and ongoing usage experiences in partnership with cross-functional teamsSurface readiness risks and gaps to Directors and functional leaders to support broader organizational readinessOperational & Financial ManagementOwn product-level performance and contribute to forecasting for assigned products or product linesPartner with Directors and Finance to inform resource allocation decisions based on product performance, growth opportunities, and risk signalsEnsure disciplined prioritization and trade-offs aligned to growth and impact goalsMonitor performance and adjust strategy based on resultsHere’s what we’re looking for:5–8 years of product management experience, ideally in EdTech or youth-focused industries3+ years of experience leading product teamsDemonstrated success driving product market fit and growth for digital or SaaS productsExperience owning or influencing product performance metrics (e.g., adoption, engagement, retention, revenue)Strong cross-functional leadership skills, especially across Product, Marketing, Sales, and ResearchDeep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics in K–12 educationTravel Requirements: This role involves occasional travel to the Seattle office, typically between 1 to 4 times per year depending on the position.Note: This position is remote; employees are eligible to work remotely in any of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA.The hiring range for this position is $131,000-170,000 annually.
