Job Title: Sr Front End EngineerType of Employment: Full-Time Location: Remote - LATAMJob Summary: As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building the sleek, high-powered UIs that make the most powerful and usable product in the subscription space. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build industry-leading functionality, enabling our merchants to manage the features that drive their businesses forward easily. You will also be laying the groundwork for the future through our rich component library, test suites, and frontend scaffolding.In a typical day, you might:Work on the UI for a new featureCreate new reusable React components to aid your peers in building for the frontendWrite tests in Jest and Playwright to ensure that we know how changes affect our platformReview code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practicesTriage frontend issues to identify root causes and maintain our high-quality barIntegrate frontend features with internal APIs, collaborating with backend engineers to consume, evolve, and validate API contracts that power core product workflows.Qualifications6+ years of experience building robust, well-crafted UIs in React and Typescript, including proper state management and data fetchingExperience defining API schemas and working with REST APIs to communicate with the serverStrong understanding of React's APIs and the render lifecycle, as well as experience debugging the React render cycle and web performance issuesExperience with configuring and maintaining frontend build tooling, like Webpack.Experience working with testing frameworks like Jest and Playwright, Storybook, and GitHubHands-on experience integrating complex frontend applications with internal APIs, including collaborating across teams to design, consume, and iterate on API interfaces in a production environmentComfort leveraging AI-powered developer tools (such as GitHub Copilot or similar) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance day-to-day engineering workflowsKnowledge of security and privacy best practicesA deep passion for crafting delightful visual experiencesExperience collaborating with design and helping shape design systems to empower consistent and pixel-perfect UIs.Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment, demonstrating adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to take initiative.Nice to have:Experience within the CPG, eCommerce, and/or subscription management spaceExperience working with the Shopify platform and APIsBenefitsCompetitive Salary: Earn a competitive salary that matches your skills and experience.Paid Time Off: Generous time off to support work-life balance.Health Insurance: Subsidized private health insurance coverage.Annual Salary Reviews: Regular performance-based salary evaluations.Training: Paid training and certification opportunities.
