Requirements and responsibilities

Job Title: Financial Data Analyst Duration: 6 plus month with possible extension Location: Fully Remote Pay Range: $35-$39 ***Healthcare/Pharmacy/PBM experience is huge plus*** The Financial Sr. Analyst will… • Work under the guidance of Sr. Manager or Manager for evaluating potential financial impact of a market event using existing models or by working with internal partners. • Support the development of new tools user acceptance testing. • Access data via Excel and tools such as SQL/ SAS and use market event adjustment models to model projected rebate guarantee impact analysis. • Coordinate the efforts across company teams that can include Sales, Analytic Consulting Services, Clinical Operations, Underwriting, and other departments to ensure contractual adjustments are executed to align with market event impacts. • Provide consultative support to internal stakeholders on analysis including but not limited to sales, underwriting and underwriting analytics teams. Education • Bachelor’s degree required. • Degree related to finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, data science, economics or other data related fields preferred.  Required Qualifications • 2 + years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing or process improvement role or equivalent combination of professional experience and education • OR • 1+ years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing, or process improvement role including 1+ year working with PBM data or PBM financial analysis. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in Microsoft Excel-based analysis and SQL • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and critical thinking skill sets are required. • Ability to story tell the findings in clear, concise way when articulating the findings of the analysis to sales, underwriting and other stakeholders. • Prior experience or knowledge of PBM industry or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
