We are looking for experienced, certified American Sign Language (ASL) Video Remote Interpreters (VRI) based in the United States to deliver high-quality medical interpretation.
📌 POSITION DETAILS:
Role: Remote ASL Medical Interpreter (VRI)
Location: 100% Remote (US-Based Only)
Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time (Min. 20 hours/week)
Schedule Flexibility: Operational window from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST (Monday – Friday)
Compensation: Competitive Per-Minute Rate Model
📋 CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Residency & Work Authorization:
Must reside in the United States with valid US work authorization (U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or appropriate work visa).
2. Certifications & Experience:
RID Certification is mandatory.
Fluent in ASL & English, with mastery of advanced medical terminology in both languages.
Proven experience in Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) OR experience working in healthcare settings (e.g., Medical Assistant, Healthcare Support, Receptionist).
3. Workspace & Technical Setup:
Computer: Intel Core i5 (6th Gen+) OR AMD Ryzen 5+.
Internet Speed: Min. 20 Mbps Download / 8 Mbps Upload (Latency < 275ms).
Webcam & Audio: Min. 720p HD webcam with a clear visual environment and a noise-canceling microphone.
