Responsibilities:
- Own the technical side of Ivalua delivery, working alongside procurement, finance, IT security, and ERP teams.
Configuration:
- Build and configure Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contracts, Purchasing, and Invoicing.
- Design custom objects, forms, fields, approval workflows, and validation rules.
Integration:
- Develop and maintain inbound and outbound interfaces using Ivalua APIs, web services, and EAI.
- Connect Ivalua to SAP and other ERP platforms using JSON and XML.
Data Migration:
- Run extraction, transformation, and load activities.
- Write and tune complex SQL for migration, reporting, and performance.
Release Management:
- Move technical configuration through Development, Test/UAT, and Production under proper change control.
L3 Support:
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
Documentation and Mentoring:
- Produce Technical Solution Designs, API specifications, and data mapping documents.
- Review the work of junior consultants and bring them up to standard.
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of hands-on Ivalua technical work, including configuration and integration.
- A current Ivalua L3 certification in Integration, P2P, and S2C.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Practical experience with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and ETL tooling.
- Proven integration work between Ivalua and SAP or a comparable enterprise ERP.
- Experience on Ivalua V182 or V178.
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- The ability to explain a technical decision to a procurement director without losing them.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to platform recovery or remediation work on troubled implementations.
- Experience on public sector or regulated-industry procurement programmes.
