YOUR NEXT ROLE As a Contract Manager (Independent Contractor), you’ll support the day‑to‑day execution of commercial contracts and negotiations, helping ensure timely, accurate, and compliant deal flow across the business during the course of this engagement. You’ll operate independently within established guidelines, applying sound judgment to non‑routine contractual matters and escalating higher‑risk or non‑standard issues when appropriate.This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused individual contributor engagement where attention to detail, commercial judgment, and practical problem‑solving are essential. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations, acting as a trusted commercial partner while supporting consistent and scalable contracting practices in a global environment.WHAT YOU’LL DO Manage the end‑to‑end execution of the contract lifecycle, from drafting and review through approvals, execution, and post‑signature managementDraft, review, and redline commercial agreements such as MSAs, SOWs, and amendments using established templates and playbooksNegotiate commercial terms within defined approval frameworks, escalating non‑standard or higher‑risk items as neededIdentify legal, financial, and operational risks early and propose practical, business‑oriented solutions within scopeEnsure contracts align with internal policies, approval matrices, and risk guidelinesMaintain accurate contract records in CLM tools, ensuring version control, data integrity, and audit readinessTrack key obligations, milestones, renewals, and expirations to support proactive contract managementPartner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to support efficient, timely deal executionContribute insights and recommendations to improve templates, workflows, and contracting documentation during the engagementTHIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU Have 3–5 years of experience in contract management, commercial operations, or legal‑adjacent rolesAre comfortable operating as an independent contractor with a clearly defined scope and deliverablesCan manage contracts autonomously while exercising sound judgment on when to escalate complex issuesBring strong drafting, review, and negotiation skills for customer‑facing commercial agreementsHave hands‑on experience working with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) toolsCommunicate clearly and confidently in English, both in writing and in conversationAre highly organized, self‑directed, and able to ramp quickly in a fast‑moving environmentEnjoy collaborating with cross‑functional partners and explaining contractual concepts to non‑legal stakeholdersYOU’LL STAND OUT IF YOU Have experience in a professional services, SaaS, or global commercial environment Have supported contracts across multiple jurisdictions or international customers Enjoy improving how work gets done and contributing to scalable, repeatable processes Are known for a practical, solutions‑oriented approach and strong stakeholder partnership WHY JOIN ACCLARO?
