FT TECHNOLOGIES (FTT) Innovating the way we pay. Note: this description covers FTT's new-business “hunter” function. It is written to be tailored into a Latin America-wide posting and a Mexico-specific posting, per FTT's current recruiting plan. Sales Account Manager — New Business (Hunter) Reports to: Head of Sales Location: Latin America, with a dedicated posting for Mexico (Mexico-based candidates preferred for that market) Function: Sales — New Business Development Level: Manager (per FTT's job-leveling framework) Employment type: Full-time About FT Technologies FT Technologies (FTT) builds cloud-based payment software for acquirers operating within the PCI ecosystem. We're a lean, fast-moving team of roughly 40 people supporting clients across the Americas, with a strong engineering and client-services culture built over nearly two decades in the payments industry. The Opportunity FTT is separating its commercial structure into three distinct functions — Revenue Operations, existing-client management (Customer Success), and new-client acquisition — to sharpen accountability and improve how the commercial team operates. The Sales Account Manager is FTT's dedicated new-business “hunter”: focused exclusively on acquiring new clients and growing FTT's portfolio, separate from managing the existing client base. FTT is building out this coverage across Latin America, with particular emphasis on Mexico — a market FTT wants covered by someone based in-country with first-hand knowledge of it. This role is measured on new-business results only. Development work and other operational activity sit outside the role's scope and are excluded from how performance against quota is evaluated. What You'll Do • Hunt new business: identify, pursue, and close new client opportunities across Latin America (with a focus on Mexico), building and managing your own new-business pipeline. • Own the full sales cycle: from prospecting through close, contributing directly to portfolio growth via net-new logos. • Keep the pipeline clean: log and manage opportunities in FTT's CRM (Zoho) in a way that clearly separates new-business opportunities from development, implementation, and existing-client work, so pipeline reviews reflect real new-business commitments and quota. • Bring payments industry credibility: speak knowledgeably with prospects about the acquiring/payments landscape — Visa, Mastercard, CyberSource, acquiring, processing, fraud prevention, or comparable solutions. • Participate in pipeline reviews: focused on commitments, quota, and genuine new-business opportunities. • Hand off cleanly: coordinate with Revenue Operations and Customer Success to transition new accounts smoothly once closed. What We're Looking For • Proven new-business (“hunter”) sales experience — not account management alone. • Experience selling into the payments/acquiring industry: Visa, Mastercard, CyberSource, acquiring, processing, fraud prevention, or similar solutions strongly preferred. • For the Mexico-focused posting: based in Mexico, with direct knowledge of the Mexican payments market. • For the broader Latin America posting: experience selling across multiple LatAm markets. • Comfortable managing and reporting on a personal pipeline in a CRM (Zoho or equivalent). • Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency preferred for cross-regional collaboration. • Motivated by variable, incentive-based compensation tied to revenue generated. Nice to Have • Familiarity with comparable payments/software sales organizations (e.g., Silverflow) or similar go-to-market models. • Existing network of contacts in the acquiring/payments space in Latin America or Mexico. Compensation This role includes a variable/commission component on top of base salary — FTT's sales roles are not intended to run on fixed salary alone. FTT is designing a structure that pays a percentage of revenue generated both at the start of a sale and over the following 12 months. The final commission structure is being reviewed with Finance and HR and will be shared with candidates during the hiring process. FT Technologies is an equal opportunity employer. Compensation will be shared with candidates during the hiring process and set in line with the role's scope and FTT's job leveling framework.
