Work directly with clients to turn a rough objective into a clear scope, deliverables, timeline, and execution plan. Take ownership of contractor teams assembled specifically for each project. Break project goals into concrete workstreams, tasks, owners, and deadlines. Manage contractors day-to-day and hold people accountable for results. Identify problems early and change the plan when execution is falling behind. Keep clients consistently informed about progress, issues, decisions, and upcoming milestones. Review work before it reaches the client and maintain a high bar for quality. Coordinate across different types of contributors and workstreams rather than managing one fixed team. Own the project through final delivery and make sure the client gets the outcome they hired Grain to deliver.
