BlockDeliver is a fully distributed, secure, peer-assisted content distribution system. It is a global, reliable, and adaptable network for web content delivery that combines the resources of a global network of caches. BlockDeliver uses a resource-backed cryptocurrency framework that enables to set up an open marketplace for even mutually untrusted participants to exchange coins with bandwidth, and vice -versa. The BlockDeliver ecosystem allows any internet user to join the network and act as a CDN cache in exchange for monetary rewards. BlockDeliver has a closely knit team and is an early-stage start-up. The CEO’s Office Intern will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the CEO. They will also serve as a liaison to the senior members, organize and coordinate executive outreach and external relations efforts, and oversee special projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills. This position is part-time for 2 months, unpaid, and remote. The intern must be studying for a Bachelor's or Master’s degree and commit to at least 20 hours per week. The role requires sound business judgment, the ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential information, and the ability to remain calm under difficult circumstances. The intern should be exposed to working with Google Docs, Word, Sheets, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the CEO
- Liaison to the senior members; organize and coordinate executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversee special projects
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments
- Communicate directly, and on behalf of the CEO
- Conduct business and corporate strategic planning including lead generation strategies, industry analysis, market research, and strategy value assessment
- Work with the business team for the execution of all business strategy and requirements
- Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO and internal departments; demonstrate leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff
- Keep an eye on competition and ensure all decisions & strategies are aware of those happenings
- Work closely with Management and business analytics team to model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for company’s forecast and performance
- Work with HR team on any deadline being risked to be missed for any open position and bring to attention of the CEO
