Responsibilities

We’re hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer who will join one of our current projects. We are looking for profiles with extensive proficiency in AWS, Java and Javascript, and immediate availability to start. Responsibilities ● Understand the existing legacy platform (Java 8, JSP, Struts, Spring MVC, MySQL) to plan, lead and execute the migration of both backend and frontend components. ● Lead the migration of JSP-based UI to modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. ● Migrate and refactor legacy backend logic to Java 21, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with modern Java best practices. ● Design and implement scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure, leveraging serverless architecture with Lambda functions. ● Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient, secure, and zero-downtime deployments. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a Scrum-based environment to deliver features and improvements iteratively. ● Estimate story points, participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure smooth project execution. ● Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both legacy and modernized parts of the system. ● Document technical decisions, maintain code quality, and ensure consistent architecture evolution. Required Skills & Experience ● Back-end development: 5+ years of experience with Java, including recent experience with Java 21. ● Migration expertise: Proven experience migrating applications from JSP and legacy Java frameworks to modern back-end and front-end stacks. ● Front-end development: 3+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular. ● Database: 5+ years working with MySQL or equivalent RDBMS, including design and performance optimization. ● Cloud: Strong hands-on experience with AWS, particularly serverless technologies like Lambda. ● CI/CD: Solid knowledge of building and managing CI/CD pipelines with zero-downtime principles. ● Legacy systems: Familiarity with JSP, Struts, Spring MVC, and traditional monolithic architectures. ● Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. ● Comfortable working independently in a 100% remote setup. ● Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
