We’re hiring a Data Migration Specialist to own customer data transitions and ensure every practice launches on Prospyr with clean, trusted data.The RoleThe Data Migration Specialist is responsible for migrating customer data from legacy systems into Prospyr as part of the implementation and go-live process. You’ll work closely with customers, Customer Experience, Implementation, Product, and Engineering to move high-stakes healthcare data accurately and on time.This role sits at the intersection of data, operations, and customer delivery—and is essential to customer confidence and long-term success on the platform.Key ResponsibilitiesData Migration & ValidationOwn end-to-end data migrations for new and expanding customersImport and validate patient, appointment, invoice, payment, provider, service, and membership dataMap data from a wide range of legacy systems (EMRs, POS tools, spreadsheets, exports)Identify, clean, normalize, and reconcile inconsistent or incomplete dataPerform QA checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity post-migrationCustomer & Go-Live SupportWork directly with customers during onboarding to define migration scope and timelinesExplain data requirements, limitations, and tradeoffs in a clear, customer-friendly waySupport go-live readiness by ensuring migrated data aligns with customer workflowsTroubleshoot and resolve migration issues quickly and accuratelyProcess & ToolingMaintain and improve migration playbooks, templates, and checklistsDocument repeatable patterns for common legacy systemsPartner with Engineering and Product to improve migration tooling and automationSurface recurring data issues and upstream product improvementsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Customer Experience and Implementation teams on go-live executionCoordinate with Engineering on complex migrations or edge casesProvide internal visibility into migration status, risks, and blockersWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of experience in data migration, implementation, or technical operations in SaaSStrong comfort working with CSVs, spreadsheets, and structured dataExperience mapping data across systems with different schemasHigh attention to detail—accuracy mattersClear communicator who’s comfortable working directly with customersAbility to manage multiple migrations in parallelExperience with healthcare, EMR, POS, or financial data is a strong plusSQL experience is a plus (but not required)Why ProspyrMission-driven team transforming how medical practices operateHigh-impact role tied directly to customer success and retentionCollaborative, fast-moving environmentExposure to real healthcare data and complex operational workflowsCompetitive compensation and benefits
