From pioneering Shariah-compliant equity ETFs to creating riba-free alternatives to high yield savings accounts, and no-leverage real estate investments for interest-free income producing assets, Wahed is working toward a more equitable financial future.Job BriefWahed is hiring a QA Intern to support the Product team in ensuring the highest quality experience across its mobile app (iOS & Android). This role is hands-on and execution-focused: you will go deep into existing user flows, test newly launched features, validate regional configurations, and ensure content accuracy across markets. Beyond identifying bugs, you will proactively suggest product and UX improvements. This is primarily a manual QA role, with optional exposure to automation tools.ResponsibilitiesTest complete end-to-end user journeys within the mobile appValidate newly developed features before and after releaseTest regional configurations to ensure correct behavior across marketsPerform regression testing for every release cycleReview and validate in-app contentEnsure content accuracy, clarity, and regional relevanceIdentify UX gaps and suggest practical improvementsDocument clear bug reports with screenshots, videos, and reproduction stepsMaintain structured test cases and QA checklistsTake ownership of mobile app quality across releasesWhat We’re Looking ForExtremely detail-oriented and structured thinkerStrong ability to test mobile app flows methodicallyClear written communication skillsComfortable working independently in a remote setupStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityAbility to think from a user perspectiveProactive mindset—not just identifying issues but suggesting improvementsGood to HavePrior experience testing mobile appsFamiliarity with QA tools (Jira, Notion, etc.)Basic understanding of mobile release cyclesExposure to automation tools such as Maestro or other mobile automation frameworksInterest in fintech or digital products
