The Instrumentl team is fully distributed.About the roleIn this role, you’ll help organizations big and small gain access to more resources so they can grow their impact. Over the past year, Instrumentl reached out to universities and nonprofits to let them know about Instrumentl, and now the company is growing a dedicated team to scale this effort. You’ll spend all day on the phone with nonprofits and universities, helping build a sales career while doing good.In this role, you should expect to:Research organizations that would be a good fit for InstrumentlMake over 400 dials per week to engage prospects and book demos with the teamTrack and document account and decision-maker details in the CRM so that we can closeLearn how the value proposition applies to different types of organizations, so that you can engage in quality conversation on the phoneSpend 10% of your time collaborating with other departments and/or working on experiments that could be a force multiplierAn excellent hire will:Book 10+ demos for the team every week through top of funnel outreach (with current performance of more than 10/week)Win over organizations with fast follow-through, strong attention to detail, and palpable customer empathyCommunicate insights and blockers from conversations to help inform how to make the pitch betterAbout youA recent graduate or early in your careerAbility to thrive working in a remote sales environmentInterest in sales, startups, or customer-facing rolesComfortable talking to new people and building relationshipsWelcomes feedback, champions new ideas, and encourages others to do likewiseCurious and constantly “getting to the bottom of things”Doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves and doing hard workExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBonus (not required)Internship or leadership experienceCompensation & benefitsOTE $60,000-$75,000100% covered health, dental, and vision insurance for employees (50% for dependents)Generous PTO policy, including parental leave401(k)Company laptop + stipend to set up your home workstationCompany retreats for in-person time with colleaguesWork with nonprofits around the US—help power meaningful workWhat to expectInstrumentl is evolving rapidly—you’ll always have new challenges and opportunities to grow.
