We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager with strong experience in banking, fintech, enterprise technology, financial media, or B2B commercial sales.This role will focus on driving new business growth across global banking and financial services markets by identifying, engaging, and closing strategic commercial opportunities with banks, fintech companies, and technology vendors. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the financial services ecosystem while managing the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through commercial negotiations and account growth.The ideal candidate is highly proactive, commercially sharp, and comfortable engaging C-suite and senior banking decision-makers across international markets.ResponsibilitiesDrive new business acquisition across banking and fintech markets globally.Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and industry engagement.Sell sponsorships, subscriptions, awards programs, research products, and strategic partnerships.Engage senior banking stakeholders, including digital banking leaders, innovation teams, and procurement decision-makers.Lead proposal development, pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing client accounts.Maintain accurate CRM reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management.Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and leadership teams to support commercial positioning and growth initiatives.Represent the company at conferences, client meetings, and industry events globally.RequirementsAt least 5–10+ years of enterprise sales or strategic account management experience.Candidates should come from backgrounds such as banking, fintech, financial media, SaaS or platform sales, enterprise technology, data or intelligence platforms, or conference and events sales, with strong exposure to B2B commercial environments and enterprise client engagement.Strong track record of exceeding commercial targets and closing enterprise deals.Experience engaging senior banking stakeholders and enterprise procurement teams.Strong consultative sales and relationship management capability.Existing financial services network is highly advantageous.Comfortable operating across international markets and time zones.Self-directed and highly effective in fast-paced commercial environments.
