Requirements and responsibilities
Senior DevOps Engineer to join our IT team in a newly created role supporting our rapid growth. This position will be instrumental in modernizing our infrastructure, bringing critical platform capabilities in-house, leading our migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions, and building a best-in-class developer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain self-service tooling and automation to improve developer velocity and reliability.
- Lead the migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions and design scalable CI/CD pipeline architectures.
- Design and implement standards and best practices for containerized and traditional applications.
- Build reusable pipeline templates and shared workflows.
- Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
- Mature CI/CD pipelines with enhanced testing, security scanning, and deployment strategies.
- Implement blue-green and canary deployment patterns.
- Write and maintain Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling.
- Improve monitoring, observability, alerting, and incident response practices.
- Modernize legacy infrastructure and support cloud-native migration strategies.
Must Have:
- B2/C1 English level.
- Cloud Platform: Strong expertise with Azure Cloud services and architecture.
- CI/CD Experience: Knowledge of both Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub Actions (GHA) for building seamless CI/CD pipelines.
- Platform Support: Experience with both Windows environments and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Database Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with IaC tools (likely Terraform, Azure ARM templates, or Other).
- Monitoring Solutions: Knowledge of monitoring systems to ensure performance and reliability.
