About the job Engineering ManagerWe are looking for a strategic Engineering Manager for our client, a multinational production company, specialised in smart springs.Main Responsibilities:Manages investment budgets for the transfer and launch of new products/projects.Defines and cascades departmental and individual objectives.Coordinates the activities of process engineers and ensures performance targets are met.Optimizes the allocation of production capacities and equipment.Plans and manages personnel resources; coordinates training and evaluation of the team.Oversees the implementation of new projects (equipment, validations, process improvements).Ensures a safe working environment and contributes to the zero-accidents goal.Issues/updates procedures and work instructions for responsible processes.Prepares administrative documentation for subordinate employees.Monitors the progress of projects within the department and reports on progress.Candidate Profile:5-10 years of experience in engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA.Experience in coordinating teams and managing complex technical projects.Higher technical education (mechanics, mechatronics, industrial engineering, etc.).Leadership, communication, and results-oriented skills.Technical knowledge of industrial processes and equipment.Advantages:Experience in line transfers and product launches.Lean / Six Sigma certifications.Experience in IATF 16949 certified manufacturing environments.Benefits:Vacation leave: a minimum of 22 working days, which can increase to 25 based on length of service.Benefits according to the Collective Labor Agreement (CCMU).Thirteenth salary (annual).Meal vouchers worth 40 lei per day.Loyalty bonus of 0.25% for each year of service within the company.Easter bonus - gift vouchers worth 800 lei gross.Vacation bonus worth 500 lei net.Transportation reimbursement - 400 lei gross/month.Monthly bonus based on the targets established at the company level.
