About Ezra Financial:
Ezra Financial is a South Florida-based private lender specializing in commercial and residential real estate investment financing nationwide. We work with individual investors and large corporations across fix-and-flip, ground-up construction, multifamily, DSCR rental, and bridge loan products — closing deals in days, not months.
Role Overview:
The Loan Processor is the operational backbone of our lending pipeline. You will manage files from conditional approval through closing, coordinating with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and third-party vendors to ensure every deal closes on time and in compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, review, and organize all loan documentation including borrower financials, entity documents, title commitments, appraisals, insurance binders, and draw schedules.
- Order and track third-party reports: appraisals, title searches, property inspections, and environmental reports.
- Review files for completeness and accuracy against program guidelines before submission to underwriting.
- Coordinate directly with borrowers and loan officers to clear conditions and obtain outstanding items.
- Maintain the loan pipeline in the origination system (LOS), updating file status and milestone tracking throughout the process.
- Prepare closing packages and coordinate with title/escrow agents to schedule and execute closings.
- Manage construction draw requests: review draw documentation, coordinate inspections, and facilitate disbursements in accordance with the draw schedule.
- Communicate proactively with all parties — borrowers, brokers, attorneys, and capital partners — to keep deals on track.
- Ensure compliance with investor guidelines across agency (Fannie/Freddie small balance) and non-agency loan programs.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready digital files.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of loan processing experience, preferably in private lending, hard money, or commercial real estate.
- Familiarity with fix-and-flip, bridge, DSCR, and/or construction loan products strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of title, appraisal, and closing workflows.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously under tight timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with loan origination software and document management systems.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency — Ezra Financial's competitive advantage is speed to close.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with construction draw management and inspection coordination.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus given our South Florida market.
