We help US businesses hire applicants from various countries for REMOTE job opportunities, and we have multiple open Billing Specialist positions we need to immediately hire. You would be working directly with the business. Responsibilities: Submit claims for PAP devices, supplies, and rentals with appropriate modifiers. Review all documentation for accuracy before billing, including prescriptions and sleep studies. Manage denials related to coverage lapses, incomplete documentation, and coding issues. Prepare corrections, reconsiderations, and written appeals for denied claims. Verify insurance coverage when denial cites coverage issues. Track claims through clearinghouse and payer portals, following up on aging claims. Communicate with insurers to resolve claim issues. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Medicare and payer requirements. Preferred Skills & Tools: Proficiency in DME billing processes Experience with insurance claim management Familiarity with Medicare DME LCDs Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines Ability to use payer portals and clearinghouses Qualifications: Experience in DME billing and claims submission Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Ability to manage and resolve claim denials effectively Excellent communication skills for insurer interactions Familiarity with medical necessity documentation Understanding of insurance verification processes Experience with compliance and regulatory guidelines Ability to work independently in a remote setting
