Altoros - a leading IT services provider is looking for a Senior Python Developer.Responsibilities: Lead incident response (primary), ensuring timely triage and resolution within agreed SLAsPerform root cause analysis (RCA)Investigate and fix backend bugs in the Django application, including post-launch and integration-related issuesTune infrastructure and adjust system configurations to improve reliability and stabilityResolve dependency compatibility issues across application and infrastructure layersOptimize performance of both the application and PostgreSQL database — query tuning, indexing, caching, and connection managementNon-Core (but inevitable)Observability gaps remediationRunbook refinementMinor DevOps improvementsRequirementsSenior Python Backend Developer – 4+ years of commercial experience building and maintaining production-grade backend systems. Complex systems support.Django & DRF – Deep expertise in Django and Django REST Framework. Proven experience designing, documenting, and scaling REST APIs, handling authentication, serialization, pagination, and custom middleware.PostgreSQL – Strong command of PostgreSQL. Comfortable with schema design, complex query optimization, indexing, transactions, and ORM best practices (Django ORM / raw SQL).Google Cloud Platform – Hands-on experience with GCP, specifically deploying and managing services on Cloud Run and working with managed databases via Cloud SQL.
