In this role, you will work warm inbound leads from embedded partnerships, quote and place coverage for small and medium-sized businesses while building a strong foundation in commercial insurance.This is a foundational broker role with a clear path to senior producer or Growth team positions as you develop underwriting and placement expertise. No cold calling or servicing required—just high-volume new business in a fast-paced startup environment.What You’ll DoOwn end to end new business sales for commercial P&C insurance, from inbound lead to bindManage 25-50 warm inbound opportunities daily while meeting activity and revenue targetsAdvise SMB clients on coverage options and basic risk management practicesQuote, market, and place admitted commercial insurance productsPartner with carriers to identify and secure appropriate coverage solutionsUse Coverdash’s quoting platform and AMS to generate and bind policiesExpand expertise in carrier guidelines, underwriting fundamentals, and product offering to increase close ratesWho You AreRequired1-3 years of commercial insurance or insurance sales experienceActive Commercial Lines P&C licenseExposure to one or more commercial insurance productsComfortable handling a high volume of inbound leadsExperience with carrier portals, rating platforms and AMS/CRM toolsStrong communicator with confidence over phone and emailOrganized, proactive, and able to manage multiple opportunities at onceAble to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environmentNice to HavePrior experience in insurtech or a high growth startupWork EnvironmentRemote-first role, work from anywhere in the USNYC office available for in-person collaborationWorking hours aligned to your time zone: East Coast: 9:00am to 6:00pm ET; West Coast: 8:00am to 5:00pm PTWhy Coverdash?Warm inbound leads—no cold outreachClear growth path into Senior or Growth rolesModern tools built specifically for insurance brokersFast-paced environment with real ownership and impactCompensationOur salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes benefits and other perks.
