Job Overview:As a Medical Assistant, you’ll support patients before and after their infusions by managing intake, documenting vitals, coordinating appointments, and assisting the clinical team. This is a great opportunity to grow with a practice that values comfort, compassion, and high-quality care.About the Role:This is a fully remote, administrative role for someone with a background in medical assisting or medical office administration. You’ll process referrals, extract relevant information, document it in the EMR, and manage outgoing faxes to providers. Communication is mostly limited to internal coordination, but some communication with patients may be required. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, behind-the-scenes work.Key Responsibilities:Review and process incoming digital e-faxes from referring providersAccurately enter patient demographics, diagnosis codes, insurance details, and treatment orders into the EMRConfirm referral details with doctors and referrals via phone and emailFollow-up with doctors and referrals as neededLog patient calls per standard SOPsSend schedule confirmations and post-treatment summaries to referring offices via faxCreate or update patient charts based on received documentationIdentify incomplete or unclear information and flag for internal follow-upEnsure consistency, accuracy, and organization across patient recordsRequirements:3+ years experience as a Medical Assistant or medical administrative experience requiredStrong written and verbal English communication skills (for client phone communication)Strong attention to detail and high accuracy with data entryFamiliarity with digital e-fax platforms and EMR systemsComfort working independently in a remote settingUnderstanding of medical terminology and clinical documentationReliable internet and a quiet home office environmentAbility to work full-time ESTIf you're a reliable, compassionate Medical Assistant looking to grow with a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
