Responsibilities

Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Remote About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Development Representative to build and maintain a healthy, qualified sales pipeline across our target markets. This is not a junior appointment-setting role. We are looking for someone who can independently identify high-potential accounts, understand our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), find the right decision-makers, develop relevant prospecting approaches, and create qualified sales opportunities for the Sales team. Experience selling software development, product engineering, technology services, or a similar complex B2B offering is highly valuable. Experience working for a software engineering company or a similar technology organization is a strong advantage. The Senior SDR will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams while owning the outbound prospecting and opportunity-creation process. Key Responsibilities Build a Healthy Sales Pipeline ● Independently identify and prioritize accounts that fit the company's ICP. ● Research companies, business situations, technology needs, and relevant decision-makers. ● Build targeted prospect lists rather than relying on generic databases or high-volume outreach. ● Continuously develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified sales opportunities. ● Identify buying signals, business challenges, relevant triggers, and potential opportunities within target accounts. Prospect and Create Opportunities ● Develop and execute targeted outbound prospecting strategies across relevant channels. ● Engage CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Product, founders, and other technology decision-makers. ● Personalize outreach based on the prospect's business context and potential engineering challenges. ● Qualify prospects and determine whether there is a genuine fit with the company's capabilities. ● Schedule qualified meetings and create opportunities for the Sales team. ● Follow up consistently with prospects and opportunities that require further engagement. ● Experiment with different approaches and continuously improve prospecting effectiveness. ●Explore alternatives to traditional email outreach, as previous email-based prospecting efforts have not generated the desired results. Work with Sales ● Partner closely with the Sales Manager to prioritize accounts and opportunities. ● Provide Sales with relevant account and prospect intelligence before meetings. ● Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure prospect and opportunity information is up to date. ● Communicate prospect feedback, objections, market signals, and recurring customer needs to Sales leadership. ● Help Sales identify new opportunities within target accounts. Work with Marketing ● Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, target-account initiatives, content, offers, and sales enablement. ● Provide feedback on which messages, offers, industries, and account types generate meaningful engagement. ● Use Marketing campaigns and content as tools to support outbound prospecting and account engagement. ● Research and identify relevant target accounts for account-based and campaign-driven initiatives. What We're Looking For ● 5+ years of experience in SDR, BDR, business development, or a similar outbound sales role. ● Demonstrated experience creating qualified sales opportunities and contributing to a healthy sales pipeline. ● Experience selling B2B technology, software development, product engineering, IT services, or other complex technical solutions. ● Experience working for a software engineering company, technology consultancy, or similar organization; experience with a comparable technology services company is a strong advantage. ● Strong account research and prospecting skills. ● Ability to identify the right companies, decision-makers, business needs, and reasons to engage. ● Comfortable speaking with senior technology decision-makers
