This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst, joining our Operational Risk team.You will play a key role in tackling fraud and driving continuous improvement. This role is responsible for performing enhanced due diligence on complex and higher-risk customers, both at on-boarding and on an on-going basis.What you bringSeveral years of experience in operational risk, compliance, KYC/AML, enhanced due diligence, sanctions screening (financial services / fintech or similar)Experience performing EDD checks at onboarding and ongoingComfortable with complexity; can summarise and present recommendations to decision-makersProven ability to lead investigations / due diligence continuous improvement; familiarity with compliance tools; can manage vendor relationshipsAble to lead projects independently; proactive learnerRelevant AML certification preferred (e.g. ACAMS)Fluent in EnglishKey Responsibilities Perform EDD on customers across high risk industries, including review of relevant export control and licensing regulationsImprove due-diligence processes, documentation, and supporting systems (clarity + traceability)Assist with regulatory changes; participate in cross-functional projectsCollaborate with internal stakeholders, business partners and second-line control functionsLead continuous improvement around tooling, SOPs and policiesContribute to specialist training and knowledge sharingStakeholder engagement to raise the profile of CompliancePrepare data-driven internal management reportsPracticalsYou'll report to: Director, Compliance & Regulatory AffairsTeam: Compliance - Risk OperationsLocation: For this position we welcome everyone to apply, but we will prioritize applications from EMEA and AMER;Start date: As soon as possibleWhat this job can offer youRemote is solving modern organizations’ biggest challenge – navigating global employment compliantly with ease.
