You've spent your career helping security teams get more from their technology. You understand what it takes to operationalize security tooling across an enterprise, and your credibility with customers comes from technical depth and hands-on problem solving. As a Technical Account Manager at Expel, you're the dedicated technical advisor for a portfolio of enterprise security programs. You drive platform adoption, deepen integrations into customers' security ecosystems, and ensure they get full value from their investment in Expel's managed detection and response service.You partner closely with Customer Success Managers, who own the commercial relationship and retention outcomes. Your role is to deliver technical depth and expertise that frees CSMs to focus on strategic and executive relationships. When incidents occur, you own the technical response coordination with customers. When integrations or troubleshooting challenges arise, you work to resolve them, escalating to senior team members when needed.Your success is measured by technical value realization within your accounts: adoption metrics, time-to-value, customer technical health scores, and your contribution to retention outcomes alongside your CSM partners. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to varied audiences, from SOC analysts to security directorsAdditional NotesThe base salary range for this role is between $114,300 USD and $165,700 USD, plus variable compensation and equity. While the full salary band reflects our long-term compensation framework, we're primarily targeting candidates between $130,000 and $155,000 based on experience, skills, and market data. This role has an 85/15 pay mix, resulting in targeted on-track earnings (OTE) of approximately $152,941 to $182,352 USD.We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data.
