The firm now advises Canadian lenders and industry professionals on expanding into the U.S., including market entry, licensing, regulatory strategy, and business structuring. It operates as a fast-paced, entrepreneurial practice combining legal services with business development, education, and industry engagement.
On behalf of Jasmine Daya & Co, we are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer and Web Content Creator to manage visual content creation and website upkeep across the firm's digital platforms. The successful candidate must be equally comfortable designing polished marketing materials and maintaining a website — updating pages, uploading content, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
The role may also involve supporting related brands, industry initiatives and the professional brand of the firm’s Managing Principal.

Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design & Content Creation
Produce carousels, one-pagers, event graphics, and promotional materials
Maintain brand templates for each business/brand under the client's portfolio
Ensure visual consistency across all design outputs
Website Management
Update Wix, WordPress, or similar CMS platforms
Build and update landing pages
Upload articles, podcasts, webinars, and resources
Monitor for broken links, outdated content, and non-functioning forms; flag and fix as needed
Email & Newsletter Support
Format newsletters and email campaigns
Ensure branding and layout consistency across email content
SEO & Metadata
Make basic SEO and metadata updates (titles, descriptions, alt text, etc.)
Collaboration & Workflow
Work with marketing/leadership on priorities and content calendars
Manage multiple deadlines and revisions independently
Maintain organized files, templates, and content trackers
Communicate proactively on missing details or requirements
Ad Hoc Support
Perform additional tasks as needed
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience in graphic design and website/content management
Strong portfolio (marketing graphics, carousels, one-pagers, website work)
Proficient in Canva + at least one design tool (Adobe or similar)
Hands-on experience with Wix, WordPress, or similar CMS platforms
Basic understanding of SEO and metadata best practices
Ability to identify and troubleshoot broken links/forms
Detail-oriented with strong English communication skills
Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines independently
Reliable remote setup (internet + workspace)
Open to feedback and quick revisions
Portfolio Requirement:
Applicants must submit a portfolio containing examples of:
Marketing/promotional graphics (carousels, one-pagers, event graphics)
Website pages or landing pages built/maintained
Newsletter or email campaign designs
Additional Requirements:
Two professional references and a valid criminal background check issued within the last 60 days are required for all successful applicants
Completion of intake paperwork, including submission of a valid tax identification number, is required prior to onboarding
Confirmation that all designs, source files, and work products created during the engagement will belong to the client
Confirmation that confidential or unpublished materials will not be shared in the applicant's public portfolio without written permission
Working Hours:
Full-time (40 hours per week)
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Pay: CAD 1,100 + CAD 70 Allowance per month
