Hiring: SAP BTP DMS Data Archiving Consultant – SAP GTS Location: Addison, IL — Hybrid Duration: 6 Months Experience: 10+ Years Work Authorization: No Green Card candidates Preference: Ex-TCS candidates preferred We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP DMS Data Archiving Consultant with strong expertise in SAP GTS, SAP Data Archiving / ILM, SAP BTP Document Management Service, HANA, and Data Volume Management. The consultant will lead SAP GTS data archiving initiatives using SAP BTP DMS, with responsibility for designing, configuring, testing, and implementing scalable archival solutions that control database growth, support compliance requirements, and enable long-term data retention and retrieval. Key Responsibilities: Analyze SAP GTS data-volume growth and identify archiving candidates Define archival, retention, and residence policies with business, legal, and compliance teams Design and configure SAP GTS data archiving solutions using SAP BTP DMS Configure archiving objects, variants, content repositories, and retrieval mechanisms Implement archiving for SAP GTS objects including: /SAPSLL/SPLAT CHANGEDOCU High-volume transactional and custom GTS tables Prepare: Technical Design Documents (TDD) Functional Design Documents (FDD) Archiving Strategy Documents Support archive, write, store, delete, and retrieval processes Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and defect resolution Coordinate with SAP Basis, Infrastructure, Security, and business teams Conduct pre- and post-archive data validation and reconciliation Develop cutover plans and support production deployment Provide hypercare support and knowledge transfer to AMS teams Required SAP Skills: SAP GTS – Global Trade Services SAP Data Archiving SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) SAP Archive Administration – SARA SAP HANA SAP Data Volume Management SAP HANA Cloud Integration / Cloud Integration concepts SAP BTP Skills: SAP Business Technology Platform SAP BTP Document Management Service (DMS) SAP BTP Integration Suite BTP Connectivity BTP Security Document Repository / Content Management SAP Cloud Integration Technical Skills: ABAP Data Dictionary Table-growth analysis Data-volume management Archiving-object configuration Performance optimization Transport management and release procedures Testing and validation methodologies Preferred Experience: 10+ years of SAP experience preferred 3+ years of SAP Data Archiving / ILM experience Strong SAP GTS implementation or support experience Hands-on SAP BTP DMS integration experience SAP RISE and S/4HANA experience Knowledge of compliance and retention policies Experience with large-scale archival programs involving multi-billion-record tables Strong DVM – Data Volume Management experience Expected Deliverables: Archival Blueprint & Strategy Architecture Design Document Technical Design Document Archiving Configuration Document Test Scripts / UAT Support Cutover Plan Knowledge Transfer Documentation Hypercare Support
