Overview20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.This growing e-commerce company specializes in diving and water sports equipment and is seeking a Logistics & Inventory Management Virtual Assistant to support inventory tracking, import coordination, shipment monitoring, and operational logistics.The company imports products primarily from Asia and utilizes Shopify, ShipBob, and Settle to manage inventory and fulfillment operations. The goal of this role is to remove the day-to-day logistics and inventory management responsibilities from ownership while improving visibility, organization, and operational efficiency.This is not a customer service role. The company already has a dedicated customer service VA. This position is focused entirely on backend logistics, inventory management, shipment tracking, and operational coordination.The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.Scope of ServicesContractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:Inventory ManagementMonitor inventory levels across Shopify and ShipBobTrack stock levels and identify products approaching reorder thresholdsAssist with inventory forecasting and planningMaintain inventory records and reportingSupport inventory reconciliation activities when neededImport & Shipment CoordinationTrack inbound shipments from overseas suppliersMonitor Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipment status, and delivery timelinesCoordinate with customs brokers, freight providers, and logistics partnersMaintain visibility into incoming inventory and expected arrival datesFollow up on shipment delays, exceptions, or documentation issuesPurchase Orders & Logistics AdministrationCreate and maintain purchase orders within SettleUpdate shipment records and inventory reportsAssist with inbound shipment creation and receiving workflowsMaintain organized documentation related to imports and logisticsReporting & Operational SupportCreate and maintain inventory tracking spreadsheetsAssist with demand forecasting and inventory planningGenerate inventory and logistics reports for ownershipHelp identify process improvements and operational efficienciesSystems & Workflow ManagementWork within Shopify, ShipBob, Settle, and related systemsMaintain accurate operational records and data integritySupport logistics-related administrative workflowsAssist with ongoing process optimization initiativesEach engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement.
