- IMEC is a team of improvement specialists dedicated to providing manufacturers in Illinois with the tools and techniques to excel and compete globally. - IMEC works closely with its clients to plan critical business improvements in all areas of their organization. - IMEC delivers local expertise to plan, strategize, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of client improvements. - IMEC has demonstrated a return on investment that exceeds 19:1. IMEC is currently hiring a Regional Manager to serve Northwestern Illinois. The Regional Manager will initiate and maintain relationships with manufacturers, assess their challenges and opportunities, and sell IMEC’s continuous improvement consulting and training solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing customer needs, leading sales calls, coordinating sales efforts with IMEC’s technical experts, building the sales pipeline, and networking to generate sales leads. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on manufacturing, engineering, technology, consulting and/or business management, along with three to five years or more of advanced experience in manufacturing sales, consultative sales and/or business-to-business sales. The candidate should also have the proven ability to lead companies down a path of continuous improvement and manage multiple projects simultaneously. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and a virtual work environment. Responsibilities: - Initiate and maintain relationships with manufacturers - Assess manufacturers' challenges and opportunities - Sell IMEC’s continuous improvement consulting and training solutions - Analyze customer needs and identify potential IMEC resources - Lead sales calls and deliver sales presentations - Coordinate sales efforts with IMEC’s technical experts - Build the sales pipeline and network to generate sales leads - Provide direct consultation to manufacturers within their own area of expertise - Prepare proposals and manage project engagements - Develop and manage third party resources - Participate on IMEC’s service development and process improvement teams
