Prudential is seeking a Planning & Analysis Specialist to join its Corporate Planning and Analysis Division. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance staff throughout Prudential, supporting coordination of CFO earnings call preparation process, Enterprise Quarterly Financial Statement forecast process, and seeking to improve processes and controls through unique solutions. The role requires 3+ years of related work experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. The ideal candidate should possess a high level of analytical and organizational skills, excellent oral/written communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat is required, and familiarity with financial service companies and Prudential systems is a plus. Responsibilities: - Coordinate earnings preparation materials for senior management’s use in earnings discussions with Wall Street analysts, regulators, and rating agencies. - Support analysis of results (actuals and forecast) and preparation of senior management reporting packages including Board materials. - Prepare portions of forecast package to communicate results and key trends to senior leaders. - Partner with the Planning & Analysis community to analyze segment financial results and sensitivities. - Assist with BU/Corp liaison meetings. - Seek to improve processes and controls through unique solutions including introducing new technology to build in efficient procedures. - Respond to Ad-hoc requests on an as-needed basis.
