We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Travel Consultant to assist clients with their travel planning needs. In this role, you will support senior agents by helping clients research, book, and manage travel arrangements. Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate air, hotel, rail, car rental, cruise, and tour reservations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company and supplier policies.
* Design personalized itineraries tailored to each client’s goals, preferences, and budget, creating memorable experiences and anticipating needs before they arise.
* Build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive communication, trust, and expert guidance.
* Manage schedule changes, cancellations, or travel disruptions with a calm, solutions-oriented mindset, turning challenges into opportunities to deliver exceptional service.
* Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and travel suppliers to secure the best options and resolve service issues efficiently.
* Use Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Apollo, or Amadeus, and other travel platforms to research, quote, and confirm bookings.
* Adhere to company travel policies, maintain accurate records, and manage invoicing or travel documentation with precision.
* Stay current on travel advisories, supplier updates, destination trends, and new technologies to provide informed, up-to-date recommendations.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 1–3 years of experience in travel booking, hospitality, or high-touch customer service (corporate travel experience is a plus).
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on empathy, clarity, and active listening.
* Proficiency in digital tools such as GDS systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and online booking systems.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work setting.
* A self-starter mindset with a passion for problem-solving, relationship management, and exceeding client expectations.
* Preferred: Certification or training through IATA, ASTA, or other professional travel organizations.
